Description:
- This IR Remote-Controlled Robot Kit is a fantastic DIY robotics project aimed at teaching basic wireless control through IR remote technology and Arduino Uno. The robot has an IR receiver (TSOP module) interface that decodes remote control signals and drives the wheels with an L293D motor driver. The body is made out of a robust acrylic chassis and housed in an Arduino chassis. It is powered with two 3.7V lithium cells that support charging.
- 1 x Arduino Uno Compatible Board (with USB Cable)
- 1 x TSOP IR Receiver Sensor Module
- 1 x IR Remote Controller
- 1 x L293D Motor Driver IC / Module
- 2 x BO Motors (150–300 RPM)
- 2 x Robot Wheels with caster wheel
- 1 x Acrylic Robot Chassis Plate
- 2 x 3.7V Lithium-ion Batteries
- 1 x Dual Lithium Cell Holder
- 1 x 3.7V Dual Battery USB Charger Module
- Jumper Wires (MM/MF)
- Screws, Nuts and Mounting Accessories
- 1x Double-sided tape
- The robot is controlled using an IR remote controller which sends encoded signals to the TSOP sensor. The Arduino then decodes the signals and controls the robot based on the pre-set logic. It sends signals to the L293D driver which activates the motors to move in the forwards, backwards, left, right and turns based on the commanded signals sent.
