Description:
- With the use of an ultrasonic sensor, the beginner-friendly 2-Wheel Object Detection Robot Kit allows users to self-build a basic autonomous robot which can detect and avoid obstacles. The robot is powered by two rechargeable lithium batteries and two BO motors, with an L298N motor driver controlling the motors. The ultrasonic sensor is mounted on an SG90 servo motor which can rotate, enabling the robot to scan the environment and adapt its course. This is ideal for school robotics projects, STEM education, and other Arduino needs for the very first time.
- Arduino Uno Compatible board which comes with USB cable
- L298N Motor Driver Module
- BO DC Motors with 300 RPM
- Robot Wheels (Diameter- 65mm)
- Chassis Base made of Acrylic (2 wheel compatible)
- Ultrasonic Sensor (HC-SR04)
- SG90 Servo Motor which rotates sensor (used to adjust horizontal angle)
- Rechargeable 2 Lithium Ion Batteries of 3.7V 2000mAh
- Dual Battery Holder
- USB module for charging Li-Ion batteries
- Connecting wires (Male to Male/Female)
- 3.5mm thick Foam tape with glue on both sides
- Hardware: Screws, Nuts & Plastic Mounts
- Mounted on the servo, the ultrasonic sensor rotates to monitor for obstacles. An object is picked up using the sensor. The distance is measured using the Ultrasonic Distance Measurement System. This is processed with an Arduino Uno. After the distance is processed, commands are sent to the L298N motor driver which drives the robot (with no remote access) to either Stop, Turn, or Proceed.
